All I can say is wow. This bat is hot. The typical rule of thumb has been true for so long in buying softball bats, which is the more expensive the better, but I am proud of easton on this one. Their bats are typically in the 350 dollar range and they went out and created a 200 dollar bat to put on the market, that is actually worth having in your bat bag. Easton had recently lost money on their reveal series and decided to go back to the old ways of manufacturing bats which produced ASA bats as hot as the OG synergy. This bat I must say is actually comparable. It has that same feel, a 27oz bat feels light and nicely weighted. The balance of the bat gives you power not just to put the ball but to blast one to opposite field too. The salvo has a 12 inch barrel and good sized sweet spot. This softball bat is well made, hits hard and far, has excellent feel and is strikingly good looking. The flat paint mixed with the glossy neon orange makes this bat look like it should be in a hot new york dance club, but when you hit it you will see it definitely belongs on a softball field. This is my pick for the best asa softball bat for 2011.
